  there were gasps after watching this.

  i heard the anti college talks at the dc this year, and while many people i know didnt agree with them, this following video stunned many of them.

  there are many people on this forum, many have gotten to where they are many different ways.

  Nope, but my Spanish was sufficient to get the gist of it and it sounded to me like the subtitles were pretty good.

  my folks came into the untruth back in 1968. i remember the baptism.

  i was later baptized at age 19 in 1981. i remember a talk about making myself a target for satan by getting baptized and dedicating my life to serving god and christ.

  now it seems for years everypne, especially new ones are all about the organ - ization.

  they DO thank the org more than they thank Jehovah!

  I think it is really very rediculous that the Bible teaches us that Jehovah/God/Creator made everything, we mess up and so Jesus gives His life for us and we thank an ORGAN-ization? It seems so disrespectful to me.

  My folks came into the untruth back in 1968. I remember the baptism. I was later baptized at age 19 in 1981. I remember a talk about making myself a target for satan by getting baptized and dedicating my life to serving God and Christ. Now it seems for years EVERYPNE, especially new ones are all about the ORGAN - ization. Oh what a wonderful life we live in "The ORGAN - ization". How blessed we are for the organization, oh where would we be without God's wonderful organization? My inlaws especially. Well except my FIL, he is actually a sincere person that refuses to change with the new light Booshi*.

  I remember back in 1999 I went to a meeting and saw a young girl I knew as she was growing up. She was a troubled kid with a promiscuous past, several suicide attempts, and a drug habit all under her belt by age 15. Her mom struggled with her and was soon raising a granddaughter along with her other kids. Siingle Moms ROCK! More guts in a single mom than a squad of Marines I say. Anyways, this troubled girl I saw before me was now 22 and as beautiful as any young woman could be. She looked like she was off the drugs and now had custody of her child again. I asked her how she was and she hugged me and my wife and said that she is glad to be in the organization. Not, I am grateful to God or Christ for saving me, but I am glad to be in the organization! That is what they are teaching the people they get into the hall. The organization is the most important thing. About a year after that I heard the young girl had once again tried to kill herself. These are the people I worry most about. People in trouble that are being trained to worship a beast of many faces.

  Tired of the Hypocrisy

  I for one have never agreed with anyone telling me what to do. I went along with it for a while but I am tired of the bullsh**! Do this, no do that, no do neither, wait do both and then whack your tally! I really beelieve in my heart of hearts that we are each responsible for our own actions or failures to act. Anyone that waits for permission to do something is a worthless turd in my book. Vote or don't vote....Just let it be your own conscience that makes it happen. Don't let someone else dictate what you can and can't do.

  An example. We were at a circuit assembly back in Yuba City, California a few years back. The speaker made up a talk about movies, music, video games and sports activities. We could all be relieved that now the society had printed up a list of approved music, movies etc for us. They would tell us what we could and couldn't watch and listen to. He paused and guess what....The whole auditorium erupted in applause!! I sat there with my wife and we just looked at each other. WTF? Now they are going to be running our lives even more? After the cheering crowd was settled back down the brother said, no we don't have the time and resources to do this for you. You all need to monitor your own pleasures.

  What I took this initial offer to monitor the media and tell us what part of Satan's system we could enjoy was to see how many weak minded sheep they actually had in the fold. They probably had someone from Beth_HELL there to monitor the response and report back on the plan. To those that believe in God and Christ I think that we are all answerable to THEM, not tthe watchCORP or any other group. So, vote if you feel you should and don't if you feel you shouldn't. Use your own mind and think about things.

  Would You Trust A JW To Be Honest More Than The Average Person?

  i know many very honest jws.

  if i had someone do work for me, clean my home, etc.----i'd generally be more at ease with a faithful jw over most others.

  in the matter of housekeeping, i'd think that they might be nosier but i doubt they'd outrightly steal from me.. what's your thought on this subject?.

  what is the worst weather that failed to get the boasting session cancelled?

  does it take several feet of snow, a major ice storm, blackouts, temperatures about or below -50, 80 mph winds, or floods to get the damn thing cancelled?

  or, perhaps they saw these and decided that there is no way in hell that they are going to cancel the boasting session.

  Back in Albuquerque in the mid 70's we had a heavy snow storm and so the schools, the courts and several state agencies closed for a day or two. Not the kh's. Thank heaven for my mom and dad. They had the good sense to stay home that night. I heard several of the witlesses did the same thing, we were all scolded from the platform.

  we had a guy who used to bang on about natural remedies.. at the doors and meetings he would tell everyone what was wrong with them and what to take to remedy it he even told the brothers of for sell coke at the assemblies.. however there was know remedy for his mental health apart from that he was a fat little porker who looked like you could grow spuds on his teeth and washing wasnt big on his agenda last i heard he joined scientology.. we had 4 sisters in the congro pregnant one nut case confessed to the elders he was father to all of them.. one sister used to attack the po's wife in the kh then stand up through the meeting and abuse at the speaker after that they would call the sike team it wasnt uncommon for her to go door to door at midnight.. last i heard she became a counsellor..

  HA! I just remembered another one. This brother of immense physical strength and weakness of mind used to wait for the young sisters to emerge from the baptismal water and ask each as they came out, "How was the water? Hey you want to get married?"
